An automated n8n Cloud pipeline that ingests Arabic security alerts from Telegram, translates them into English, routes them for human approval, and broadcasts approved alerts to WhatsApp and SMS through a single Twilio number.
A UAE-based security news publisher followed trusted Arabic-language sources on Telegram and needed to deliver those alerts to 500+ English-speaking subscribers across WhatsApp and SMS. The manual process required monitoring Telegram, translating each alert, reformatting it, approving it, and sending it separately across channels.
We built a hosted n8n Cloud automation that handles ingestion, Arabic-to-English translation, editorial approval, multi-channel broadcasting, rate-limit management, and delivery logging without requiring the client to manage infrastructure.
"What did it take to get a single alert out to both lists before this?"
Before, getting a single alert out meant constantly monitoring Arabic Telegram channels by hand. When news broke, we had to manually translate it to English, reformat the text, and broadcast it twice, once to WhatsApp and again to SMS. Now, n8n ingests and translates it automatically. We just approve the draft, and it blasts to both lists simultaneously through a single Twilio number. A tedious process now takes 10 seconds.

We built the complete workflow on n8n Cloud, keeping one human approval step in the process while automating ingestion, translation, formatting, broadcast delivery, rate-limit handling, and monitoring.
The workflow monitors the designated high-trust Arabic Telegram channel, extracts message content and metadata, translates the alert into English via API, and stores the original alongside the translation for traceability.
Prepared alerts are sent to an admin Telegram bot for review. After approval, a single Twilio virtual number broadcasts the alert to WhatsApp, SMS, and supported Zello subscribers. n8n batching manages rate limits, while logging records timestamps, delivery status, and potential errors.

A single Twilio virtual number supporting WhatsApp, SMS and Zello sends the approved alert to all active subscribers. One number across three channels keeps both the cost and the operational surface small.
Batching in n8n respects Twilio's rate limits so broadcasts don't get throttled mid-send. In a broadcast system, partial delivery is worse than slow delivery, and this is the piece that prevents it.
Every alert is stored with timestamps and delivery status, with periodic checks for things that may be stuck in an error state. Since an unmonitored broadcast pipeline fails silently - the client would find out from a subscriber, which is the wrong way to find out.
The client moved from a manual, multi-step publishing process to a two-tap workflow: review the prepared alert and approve it. Ingestion, translation, formatting, multi-channel dispatch, and logging now happen automatically. Broadcast preparation takes under 10 seconds, the system was delivered in two weeks, and the client manages no infrastructure.
